A proven, high-performance solution
Impressive performance
How can we renovate characterful facades while providing additional thermal insulation, without altering the aesthetic appeal of old facades? This is the daily challenge faced by many architects, contractors, design offices, condominiums and urban planning departments.
NOVASKIN® offers a complete, high-performance mineral solution that perfectly meets the needs and expectations of specifiers. This new range from SAINT-ASTIER® offers two complementary products for creating exterior insulating plaster coatings.
The NOVASKIN® solution works as a pair of products whose combined thermal performance has been measured in real conditions, attesting to their proven thermal conductivity. Non-combustible (A1), light and with vapour permeability, it offers a ‘new skin’ to all types of buildings undergoing renovation while preserving the original support.
– Thermal resistance (R) of 1.26: NOVASKIN® THERMO PLUS offers a thermal resistance of 1.26 (m².K)/W for 10 cm applied
– 15 times more efficient: The NOVASKIN® system offers thermal performance 15 times greater than that of a traditional mortar application
– Fire classification A1: The best possible classification in terms of fire resistance.
A 100% mineral range
NOVASKIN® is a range of insulating plaster coatings made from our hydraulic lime and recycled glass beads. This 100% mineral solution is compatible with old substrates and offers healthy and durable thermal insulation.
The range includes two insulating base coats for thermal insulation and two coloured finishing coats for protection and aesthetic appeal.
After two full years of research and development, application in real conditions and tests carried out in an independent laboratory to measure thermal conductivity, we are delighted to present this innovative NOVASKIN® product, launched on the French market since 1 March 2024.
