Decorating with Lime

Whitewash, Patinas, Stucco, Thin Coating

Lime is particularly well-known and loved for dressing and enhancing our interiors thanks to its stylish effects and the authenticity it provides on our walls. It is also used in heritage restoration as a protective skin for stones, to protect them and restore their former glory.

At Saint-Astier, we offer natural, healthy, and sustainable solutions, with textured and colored finishes. Natural lime-based solutions such as whitewash, decorative thin coatings, stuccos, or patinas.

A Unique Decoration

A guarantee of authenticity for many of us, lime-plastered walls allow us to assert the character of a room in a few masterful strokes. Their raw texture, reminiscent of polished concrete, brings relief to homes and can be varied with multiple shades. While natural lime has a slightly greyish tint, it also flirts with more or less intense pigments such as terracotta red, greens, or deep greys, which illuminate our interiors.

These raw, designed aspects make them the natural trends of our time in spaces that dare to adopt them. A sensitive coating, with such a particular touch, which offers in this sense another vision of decoration.
