At Saint-Astier®, we have a 100% integrated Laboratory. Our team consists of agents, technicians, and R&D engineers.Their main missions are to ensure optimal quality of Saint-Astier products, to control materials, to analyze and research particular shades of stones, sands… But we are particularly attentive to the development of new technical solutions and the improvement of some of our existing products. Evolving our ranges to meet construction site needs.

R&D is one of the strategic pillars of the company. Since 2014, this department has been strengthened by material and human investments and by the creation of the Applied R&D cell where our solutions are meticulously tested and applied in real construction site conditions. This cell is led by skilled professionals, masons, stonemasons, applicators, all from the world of Heritage..

From laboratory work to application tests, our teams of passionate specialists study and adapt our solutions to tomorrow’s applications.
